Harkening back to the original Fender Pine T’s, the Falcon is a modern day vintage-esque interpretation of simplistic perfection. Graceful lines, soft contours and tasty boutique Lollar Special ‘T’ pickups put a huge smooth buttery edge on your look and sound. To best capture the vintage vibe I use roasted/torrefied pine for the body. In general, instruments made with tempered wood ‘resonate louder, with a broader harmonic footprint that includes stronger fundamentals, richer harmonics, and a significantly longer natural sustain.’ The roasted Red Pine I use is a gorgeous golden brown, very lightweight, and sonically exhibits a strong, clear, punchy midrange.
